Unless you are into your moon cycles or biodynamic winemaking practices, no one really pays too much attention to timing events on the full moon, however there is one activity in Mendoza that can only be done on a full moon: the night time rafting parties.

Argentina Rafting have been specializing in rafting expeditions for 20 years now and when the bright night comes around, their night time rafting excursion in Mendoza River books up fast as adrenaline seekers and lunar hippies get a piece of the action.

Starting out with a 6km raft through Class II and III rapids, rafters then return to the base at Potrerillos lake where they can shower and get ready for a full moon party with Pollo al Disco, live music and DJs and a bonfire all night long to enjoy this special event till the sun comes out.
