Is The Vines winemaker. While he is young, more than 200 of his wines have been awarded medals and high scores internationally. Born and raised in Tunuyán, he has worked at some of the most important wineries in Mendoza. He has also worked in wineries internationally. In 2006, he worked with Chateau de Lauret in Pomerol, Bordeaux, and in 2007, for Chateau Peyre Lebade and Chateau Clarke in Medoc, Bordeaux, both part of the Rothschild Group. Currently, He is responsible for more than 500 unique wines being made at the Vines. He loves skiing and motorcycles. He is married and has three lovely children; Sophie, Valen & Juli! His personal wine is named Tierra de Dioses and is building a new winery in partnership with Santiago Achaval; Matervini.

Andrés Rodríguez has been working in vineyards since 2013, with experience in both Chile and Mendoza, including two years on Michel Rolland’s team. Since 2018, he has served as Head Agronomist at The Vines of Mendoza, where he is responsible for producing the highest-quality fruit for our vineyard owners and managing the logistics and sale of grapes to many of Argentina’s leading wineries.
Throughout his career, Andrés has developed a strong passion for sustainable and environmentally responsible farming. Since 2019, he has led the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and has been crucial toward achieving The Vines Organic Certification.

Is a certified sommelier with extensive wine experience gained from her time at La Bourgogne restaurant in Mendoza and Uruguay, as well as winemaking internships in Napa and France. In the Vines, in 2007, she became the tasting Room Manager till 2010 and since then Wine Director responsible for guiding Private Viney in their winemaking by providing guidance on customizing style and varietals, blending sessions, and wine education. Mariana is also responsible for the wine program at The Vines Resort & Spa and is actively involved in wine education for The Vines Global. She also owns her own wine brand, Onofri Wines, and lives with her husband who shares her passion for nature and animals.

With over 25 harvests, including one in California and 15 years at The Vines of Mendoza, Walter brings deep hands-on experience in leading more than 500 fermentations annually across 30+ grape varieties and diverse wine styles. A trained winemaker, he has complemented his technical background with diplomas in Production Management, Logistics, and Managerial Skills, along with over 40 specialized wine courses. He is the creator of Rompe Esquemas, a personal and family wine line that reflects his philosophy and unique style.
